If you aren't having any luck try this... Alpine PLT-5 LAT Subwoofer System Powered truck-style subwoofer at Crutchfield.com

I just got mine delivered and its getting installed tomorrow. Very good reviews, with out attracting thieves with the boom as you go down the street in your neighborhood. Will give you my thoughts once its in tomorrow but for 299 from crutch you can't go wrong...

Yes the stock subwoofer is all prewired and ready to plug and play.
