Musk-FJ-Oxen are a truly adaptable breed, thriving in extreme environments with superbly insulated bodies, long suspension, and woolly undercoatings. Though becoming rare at times across much of their dealer's habitat (largely as a result of over-purchasing), many have been successfully reintroduced to the wild in recent years. Here a herd can be seen huddled together during a storm. As the wind dies down they will begin to forage for trails once again.

I openned and closed this video with some snorkel cam down Sherwins Lake Road which is the approach for our annual NorCal-FJ's "High Seirra" run in the Mammoth Mountain area. The rest of the video is riding Mammoth plus some awesome backcountry snowmobile access boarding.
