Rausch creek

My brother is a guide at Rausch Creek Off Road Park, and we were both curious as to how the FJ would do. So last sunday we hit the trails. I gotta admit it was more fun than I thought... This was my first time out. The rig did great even in stock form.

His some pics from the trip...

Just getting to the park...

Following my brother up the trail....

Gettin dirty....

This hole had a sign next to it... "5 feet +"

Mud pies!

And some others...

And heres a shot of the two babies...

Thanks for checking it out!

Re: Rausch creek

its actually right off of I-81, in the middle of nowhere.

Maybe a little over an hour north or Harrisburg.

You do have other options:
1) Paragon- about 30 mins north of Raush and much bigger.
2) THe reading Anthricite coal company annual pass- 100$ and it runs north of harrisburg all the way up to the top of Pa - hundreds of thousands of acres- no trail signs and no map.

Re: Rausch creek

I like them both, Rausch is the only place I've taken the FJ to so far though.

Rausch Creek, Green only pics (we did take one blue trail which consisted of one GIANT rut that almost tipped the heavily modded Dodge Ram Charger that was leading the pack that day.)

Damageinc, NO WAY, didn't know the Antrhacite coal site was still open! I ran that a few times back in high school almost 15 years ago.

They just started about 9 months ago to try a prliminary off roading permit thing- you have to call the main office- the thing that suks is that you have to go there personnaly to get the permit but the wheeling area is huge!
