how do you pull a 7600 pound vehicle out with one that can barely tow 5000 without tearing up the drivetrain?

it looks to me like the humvee has a winch and just used the FJ as an anchor point

its not like he's dragging it. it was a heavy vehicle partially under its own power.

I can't believe that you drove your FJ into that snow...it's deep! Of course, if you have a recovery vehicle right there, I suppose it would be fun. BTW, that is the best humvee configuration out there. I really like the standard cab long-bed look...very cool.

the FJ was just anchor point for the winch.
it didn't move an inch during the recovery.
after i pulled the FJ out, i took a little run and easily made it through!
my wife thinks i'm an idiot.
