What causes trail rash you ask???

Going on a trail that is made for a 4 -wheeler!!

Ok this really was trail for vehicles, but the FJ is pretty damn wide...Just more "rash" to add to the already scrated to hel$ sides of the FJ!! Oh well, I say better scratches than dents and dings....

Re: What causes trail rash you ask???

Dry brush here in CA does the same thing. It'll buff out...

Re: What causes trail rash you ask???

Is that trail right where the road from Everglades City meets back up into Miami? We took a LR Disco through a patch right where the Everglades ended. It was a lot of fun but beat the hell out of the Disco.

Seein' how deep it was...This was at JW Corbett wildlife preserve in west palm beach, Fl...99% of puddles in the preserve like that look extremely shallow then just drop off like 3ft. or more...So we started checking!!

We went thru all of the water we found!! Dead center!! I got stuck in one mud/water rut where the muffler was gurglin' and I locked the rear diff. and crawled right out....Al, with the blue FJ got stuck in a deep hole and his whole rear bumper was submerged for like 35min. while we attempted many times to get him pulled out...I have a video of it, just need to upload it on youtube.com...

Re: What causes trail rash you ask???

If anyone in Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley area needs a good recommend for scratch removal try "Cruisers carwash" in northridge. I have a black Diamond that got nasty trail scratches, they made it come back better then the day I bought it!! 2 months 3 washes later, they are still gone , except one real deep one is starting to show. Tell them the guy with the Black FJ that goes there sent you and tell them to give u a deal.
