My FJ at the Lake...

Well, the jet ski ninjas returned to Lake Nacimiento this winter. Five of us went out in the lake, with the air temp at 51 degrees, and the water not much warmer. Here's the action shot of the FJC on the ramp:

DH used the LL gear to pull off the ramp - it wasn't necessary, but he thought it was easier on the clutch.

Happy Almost New Year to everybody.

Hey, Tim, thanks. Yep, we are die-hard, no question. But it's much easier to be so when you own your own skis, rather than renting them. That way, if you get out on the water and it sucks (like it kinda did on Weds., with clouds and wind at ~ 20 mph) you can call it quits.

But then you go out again on Thursday, when it's bright and sunny and with not a lot of wind, and 51 degrees doesn't seem so awful - the 3/2mm wetsuits really do make it bearable.

Last year, it was about the same temps, and we all jumped in the water 'cause we got too hot with the wetsuits on, and needed to cool down.

TIm:

I'm a native SoCal girl. Snow is evil.

So, to answer your question, nope, haven't had it in the snow yet. I assume we will take it to Tahoe at some point, but not anytime soon.
