My new TRD

Ok, so I just got my FJ today, I've been breaking it all day, the TRD turns heads like nothing else...so far I've gotten 175 miles on it which is pretty good for a start off :-P.

Speakers sound GREAT they def sound better than the regular FJS on the lot...so I'm pretty sure on the TRD they updated the speakers.... I also added a Rear-View Camera.

Me and my FJ... no laughing! I always look stupid as heck in pics!

Comments, or whatever, are welcome.

Nice ride. How's it stack up to that RR Sport?

Re: My new TRD

Haven't compared them, that's my fathers...it has the air-bag lift thingy....My dad says he LOVES the FJ though and thinks it's much cooler, RR prob has more power, and they are known for being some of the best off-roading vehicles ever created...so I dunno! I doubt my dad would ever take is RR off roading.

Re: My new TRD

I just ask 'cause my Mom has got an LR3. LR3 and RR Sport are built off the same chassis and are more or less the same vehicles with a different body style. The LR3 is a sweet ride, very comfy but I'd take my FJ any day.

Congrats EliteEagleX, bad a$$ ride for 19. And, 175 miles on the 1st day? Wow, a record low hours on x-box today, huh?

i was interviewing baptist birmingham last year when i was given the keys to an occupied hotel room by mistake, and met up with a rather interesting and very attractive young lady in only a very short towel.

turns out she was a fellow interviewee.

we went out to dinner in what was then her new RR sport, orange, loaded. we had to drive with the windows down because for some reason the high tech british computer had turned on the heat and wouldn't shut it off.

that and the power mirrors had a mind of their own.

Re: My new TRD

First off, nice looking FJ ... second, put the garage door opener on the visor.... and last, stop saying the audio system sounds great ... you lose all credibility when you say absurd comments like that!

Re: My new TRD

Lol. It's 100% fine by me! Everyone is so surprised on this forum that I like it, I let my parents listen to it (They have bose and infinity systems) and they even said it sounds great...I'm wondering if I actually have JL speakers or something???

lol, I've put the garage door opener in the front compartment, but yeah, I'll move it to the visor. RR's are great...but I have to admit, if I had a choice between and RR or an FJ (and I could not sell either) I would choose my FJ... and yeah, ZERO hours on the Xbox 360 today, not even a minute actually :-P

It was a joy putting those miles on the FJ I already wasted a full tank of gas lol, I'm trying to get to 500 miles very quickly so that the engine is broken in, and I can add the TRD CAI, I don't want to add the CAI in the middle of the break in...just seems like a bad idea

I'd estimate that me and my buddy drove the FJ for a total of seven to eight hours today. Turned a lot of heads as well! Only problem is that with a car that turns heads...you might catch the attention of someone you don't want to be checking out your car!
