I was off road again this week in American Fork Canyon Utah. Great trail after a heavy rain wash out in the end of july made it much more interesting. This is a great trail (let's go together next time you SLC cruisers) with awsome and scary mines, a cabin, clif hanging two seat outhouse (why two seats close together?), and moderate obstacles. This trail is a 2 in good condition, but a 3+ right now after the rain erosion.
Precariously perched so as not to test the limits of the skid plates.
Once agian, thank you Budbuilt.
Sharp rocks ravage sidewalls and cut off chunks of tread.
Skid plates have already paid for themselfs. Note the bending at the corners.
Lots of off-camber
Really get to see articulation on this trail
Georgeous surroundings. Fall is around the corner.
That last picture is pretty intense. Did you help it out a little by holding the camera at an angle??

I am from Seattle and I love it, but . . . the high desert has some advantages, like reliable weather to rock climb, ski and ofcoarse off road. Lot's of rock.

Re: Mary Ellen Gulch Utah Pics
Thanks for the photos. I used to ski (cross-country) in AF Canyon when I lived in Provo 30 years ago.

Great pics but it sure would be nice to see more of that nice countryside.
Please go back and get more !

Hopefully, no one who sees your exagerated tilted-camera pic will think they can do that in real life.
Yea, I hope not. You get the pucker factor at 20 degrees, by thirty you think that your going to fall over. It would be hard to accidentally get to beyond thirty degrees if you going "as slow as possible. . . " and using a spotter.
