As a parachute rigger I can tell you that the last stunt was not well planned out after the ramp stage. They obviously had a great budget, but some money should have been spent on ensuring the chute didn't deploy whlie the car was still breaking apart. It was a dual canopy cargo system (very nice) but one chute got fodded out completely by debris leading to a risky hard landing, luckily over water.
