Geo88 . . . that's a fine looking SS you have there. You Cail folk are always rubbing it in when you post pics of great terrain like that. All we have is mud, which I am not a big fan of, and dirt trails and there is little to none state or federal land to wheel on.
It is a good thing that I am very busy with my woodworking business right now as seeing all these Sandstorm pics makes me want to do more modding but I really don't have time to order and install the mods . . . of course, being busy gets the cash flow up so when time allows more goodies will be on the way . . . bumper, winch, tactical storage gear, rework sound system, dual battery, CAI, leather interior . . . Where will it stop ?
Komombo . . . I'll have more woodworking pics for you soon. This condo job will be done in a couple of weeks and I think you will be impressed.
We're lucky indeed that we have mostly good weather and terrain here in SoCal, but we do pay for it, believe you me , in one way or another.
You're welcome for a visit anytime, I am sure the local FJers would be thrilled to show you the local trails.
One year ago, I promised my wife I'd build her a cabinet where she could store all of her nice china. Your condo project comment makes me feel that much more of a loser. I need to light some fire under my patootie.
Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread
Thanks for the invite fellas. I had actually hoped to do another "lap around America" in the FJ this winter (like I did with my Z71 pickup four years ago) but it is tough to schedule a month without work. Last time I covered 7,800 miles but this time I have lots of places to stop, relatives to visit, trails to wheel . . . I'd better allow much more than a month Lot's of FJers to visit, fellow Sandstormers, Chick and LT in Oregon, gotta get that beer from Kathrine, wheel with Uphill, etc, etc. I'm takin' next year off.

Well thank you MR. FJCZR for your kind comments, we appreciate all of them. We like people who like our Sandstorms, and we return the favor by liking their colors back as much. Spreading the love is gooooood .
