Well thank you MR. FJCZR for your kind comments, we appreciate all of them. We like people who like our Sandstorms, and we return the favor by liking their colors back as much. Spreading the love is gooooood .
I think you meant to say, " and we return the favor by liking their colors almost as much."

At least you admited in writing that it is a "good joke". Woodsman needs to go the bank for a deposit, quickly .

Thanks for being a good sport. I am surprised there are no visible Sandstorms in Long Island. I am sure you'll see one soon, just keep looking.
Cheers.

Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

MR FJCZR . . . get on the web and look at dealer inventories . . . you will find one somewhere but be ready . . . to trade

Before the Sandstorm I just couldn't decide yellow, blue, silver all with the funky "I wish I were still young" names. When talk started about the 08 colors I put the purchase in a holding pattern until I could see one in person. At that point, the decision was made. Sandstorm it is. A nice orange or green would have been close competition but I sure like the way this color hides the dirt and dust, especially since I have a 1/4 mile long gravel driveway which is pretty dusty in the summer.

Except for the long and dusty gravel driveway, I went through the very same experience myself, right down to the orange and green color envy. I even posted twice on this forum asking for anyone to give me an estimate on how much it would cost to repaint an FJ (I was thinking dark orange or green colors) but I got zero response. Then I heard of the SS, waited, and went to see it in person at the dealership, side by side with the brick. I liked them both, but once I sat inside the Sandstorm, I knew it was the ONE. I discovered later of course how amazing this color is at hiding dust, the kind that would make a darker FJ look filthy ugly.

Geez Woodsman, it's like we're twins seperated at birth...I hope not, for YOUR sake
