It's bald too, but I'm wanting a basket rack like an ARB or Gobi, so I've got save up for that. Thinking about getting the TrailGear rails or a GPS first.
I may get a rack someday, but I'm only 5'2" ...so I can't reach anything up there anyway.

Yep, the FJ bug bit hard when the Sandstorms came out for '08. I had been following the truck since it was originally announced, but at the time I was commuting 50 miles each way in a Honda Civic Si. That was a cool little car and I had it set up with a roof rack to carry my bikes to races. All along I wanted a bigger vehicle that I could carry my bikes inside and do a little backwoods-ing in. Well, I was doing a good job of waiting out the FJ until I saw that first Sandstorm... BOOM and she was mine. I call her my Beigeby, my wife doesn't quite get it...

Did you PM this friend of yours or would you like me to do it? He may respond to you better, or not
Heck yeah, bonus to you! I have never been off-roading with another SS so far, but I have seen on on the trails in Sedona. Unfortunately, we were seperated in two different groups, so I never got a chance to chit chat with the owner of the other SS. I am sure he'll show up here...Hello in advance.

Great pics, and welcome to our SandstormHood! You've been added to the roster.
FJ is great for anyone who's athletic, loves outdoors, and likes versatility. Very cool bike too, looks like a triathlete bike.

Yea, my bikes and racing triathlon actually eat up more of my expendable income than my FJ... so far...

If there is one thing in this life that is worth spending on, it would be a sport that keeps you healthy, happy, well-balanced, and motivated. Good for you, enjoy!! My favorite thing in life is being in shape.
