Thanks for the invite Komombo. Here's a quick pic of the Woodsman when changing treads a while back.

Sweet man, thanks for responding. I like this picture of you and the FJ, very organic! Post more action shots if you have them.
Good to see you join the list Woodsman!!

Engine Jen; Fairfax, Ca. (please sign me up for the 'hood)!

I will work on the pics, just gotta figure out where I put the file on the computer.

Must say that I agree about the Sandstorm color. It pushed me to get one sooner than later. I had to special order as no one had one in stock. Furthermore no one in the Dealership had even seen the color, and therefore
no one wanted to order one...even for stock. I have had lots of compliments on the color too. I got it because I remember seeing this color on Fj40's of my youth.

Silly question but, Joeg180 what do you use a second horn for??

Happy Trails!!

Part of 'hood you are Engine Jen!!! Cheers for joining.
Love to see the ranks swell. I also had to a wait and shop for a while for my Sandstorm color. I hear you on the compliments, I get them on a regular basis with some people saying something like "darn, I did not think this color would be so nice..." It seems that that biggest SS downfall is that pics rarely do it any justice.

Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

I guess that I should not complain too much about waiting for my FJ. It took a little over 4 weeks, but by the time I was ready to go and paid my dough I didn't want to wait that long. Now in my fourth month of ownership I am still surprised to have only seen like one other.

Thanks for "a place to spread the SS love"!!

Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

Why are you people up at 3:00 am

I'm surprised at how nice this color is. I saw one at a dealership and it looked great!
I really think Toyota did a diservice by slapping a silver mirror and trim on some of these colors. While it looks ok on Black Diamonds and Titaniums, my opinion is it clashes with some of the others. I love the blacked out look on yours, Kal. That should have been the way it was made, but who asked me?

It's definitely the coolest color name!! Sandstorm! While I love the color of my rig, I'm not giddy about the name "Sun Fusion". I feel like I need to don a little sun dress and grab a handful of daisies

Great looking rigs, all.

Ok I'll give you one guess what color my FJ is in case my user ID hasn't given it away already...

Here's my rig. Only a couple of months old and pretty stock so far, but the mods at starting...

I'm really lucky to be in an area with such a large active FJ Cruiser club:

Wow Dragon, this is a beautiful job you've done on this photo, I am loving it!!! I may have to produce a giant portrait of it for my living room....errrr, well my garage if I don't want to get a divorce .
While it's no secret that I love the Sandstorm color, whenever my wife and I go wheeling, we're always admiring and ogling the other colors. When we were at Sedonafest, we absolutely fell in love with how the Voodoo Blues looked on the trails. When at Truckhaven, the Sun Fusions looked so great we couldn't stop talking about them. It's strange how different FJ colors pop out on different terrains.

I have to disagree about the name Sun Fusion. I sounds fresh, vibrant, happy, summery!! At any rate, thank you very much for your nice compliments, it's humbling coming from someone with such a nicely setup rig and a moderator at that.
Thank you brother Dragon, and hope to be meeting you soon (most likely at Ouray).
