Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread
Sorry it took so long to get back but I have been in Moab for the weekend,
Pretty good excuse….
I’m not sure if I could have made it without the lift. I’m sure I would have drug my belly. I think I remember just touching when I went over.
As far as traction goes I am impressed with the locker and A-Track.
I have had Jeeps for the last ten years and am plenty impressed with my FJ. I am used to a front locker but I am not putting one on this rig.
The biggest difference between the Jeep and the FJ is the articulation with the straight axle. I will put up with lifting a tire occasionally for the comfort and ride of the FJC
Here is another shot, I went up and over the top and then came back down the same way.

So I never did pics on here when I got my FJ, I spaced it. Here are some pics from my run in Naches this last weekend.
Me and Toy

Into the Wild
Perch
Interior view after going over lip (notice the gauge)

Ok, cool.
So, I guess I won't be considering that particular obstacle until I get lifted.
Another nice pic. Thanks.
Oh...

Best purchase I have ever made.
These are great photos! The FJ looks great, nature looks awesome, they remind me that I need to get out of the city ASAP. Thank you for sharing brother.

Add one more to the list. Out of Colorado Springs, seen a few others running around town, but havent met anyone on here from this area with another Sandstorm....
Here we are (My FJ and I) Christmas morning when my husband surprised me with it...
And here we are on a recent trip through Durango/Silverton/Ouray/Telluride...
[Why's ocr posting so much?]
I know this has probably already been over-done, and I might just get slapped (or beat up) but...oh my.
Seriously though...

steven
Does your wife know you are talking so highly of my wife??
Dont think we are going to be making Ouray, we would love to, especially since we live so close but too many things going on and I dont think either of us will be able to take off of work through the week. We may swing down there on Saturday or Sunday and just hang out for the day then head back home, would be cool to see so many other FJ's running around.
On a side note, here are a few pics from Memorial Day weekend, we took the SandBox (thats what she calls her FJ) to Moab, we took 400 pics but heres just a few...
These are from "Top of the World" - very fitting name...
Heres one of Chelle_Belle "hanging out" on the point...
Here we both are sitting on another ledge together, I know, I'm way too ugly and none of you want to see me...
Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread
Here are some more from Moab...
These are from the Tusher Tunnel area, not a hard wheeling spot but a cool place to hike up to and play around...
Here's Chelle_Belle and our daughter Riley (and dog Roxy) in the entrance to Tusher Tunnel, its really cool, goes all the way through and comes out into another canyon where the previous pics were taken...
