Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

I want to welcome our latest addition to the ranks, Joeymozer!
Joey sent me a private message as the newest addition to the SS list. I hope we'll see his posts here.

It's good to see the SS ranks still growing, slower yes, but still growing. With the summit approaching in a few days, I am getting nervous and more busy than ever. Hope to see you all who signed up for the trip there.

Cheers.
Kal.

Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

I'll be there waiting for you Kal, and other fellow Sandstormers, but I do have a huge amount of work to get done before I leave and again after I get home. It will be worth trading a couple of weeks of torturous labor for the great experience I know the Summit will afford.

Yes, I feel the same way: looking forward to meeting you. I will do my best to distract you from all the thinking about work, if you do the same for me (I know you will).
Salutes brother Woodsman!

Leaving in the morning for Ouray. Probably be up half the night packing. Usually can't sleep well before a trip anyway. Cynthia and I look forward to seeing you all at the Summit. Have a safe trip.

Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

I finally put a GIF together from the Trail Teams Boulder Creek run in June. Let me see if it works.

Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

thread-title: 2008 FJ Summit - Sandstorm-specific Thread

Good evening, Siblings.
Father Kal (komombo) and I discussed it and in order to keep this thread dedicated to Sandstorm Family intros and general Sandstorm discussion, we figured it would be a good idea to create a separate thread in the greater 'National Summit' sub-forum for anything Sandstorm-specific from the 2008 Summit.

So, here is the link...
2008 FJ Summit - 'Sandstorm Family' Thread

Please use that thread to discuss things which are specifically related to events and experiences we had during/at the 2008 Summit.

Thanks.
steven
