Add me to the list..
Hello there fjdrummer, welcome to the brotherhood/sisterhood of the Sandstorm owners!!! Can you please tell us what area of the country you live, and your date you took possession of your FJ.
We missed you at the summit. We had a great time there meeting and greeting and wheeling. The Sandstorms looked good and stood out in the crowd. The Ouray Colorado sheriff department uses Sansdstorm FJs...is that cool or what? Did any of you fellows take a picture of the Sheriff Sandstorms? My camera was never nearby when I spotted them.
We look forward to your contributions and comments

Though I don't have anything ready to upload quite yet, you gotta know I took some photos.
I even spent a few minutes in conversation with Matt; the sheriff. He seems pretty cool.
I had heard from someone else that they (the Ouray County Sheriff's department) were planning on purchasing more FJs. So, when we were talking, I asked him if they were going to continue their Sandstorm line or get other colors.
He said their main reason for choosing Sandstorm in the first place was because it lends it self to more of a Sheriff's vehicle look (they were originally going to get the Black Diamond, but it looks more police-like than Sheriff-like).
I don't recall exactly how he said it (or maybe I do and I just want to let it remain 'off the record'), but I got the impression that he is very pleased to be driving the FJ; relative to the vehicles they've had before.
They do not lease, and he's hoping they last longer than their traditional rigs. So, I'm sure we'll hear from them as the years go by. Let's hope the Toyotas live up to their reputation for the Ouray County Sheriff's department.

Yeah, I cannot believe either how many Sandstorm owners that I met at the Summit said they missed this thread as well. I am glad though that eventually everyone will find us and we can gel together like the brotherhood/sisterhood we are.
Welcome to this thread, you have been added to the ranks. We look forward to all your future contributions.
BTW, here's a photo of the Ouray sheriff sandstorms that someone else posted on another thread:
