Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

Indeed.
We were originally going to get the Titanium, but the first time I saw the Sandstorm on the lot, I said, "Oh my. There it is. That's the one."

In fact, to be honest...at first, I thought it looked too fancy and I might look like an idiot driving around in something so nice......after a day of letting that thought brew, I said, "Nonsense!" If it's nice, it's nice. ....oh, and it's really nice.

I have to agree 100% on the Titanium being the best looking FJ until the SS showed up... and I still like the Tit.

When the SS first came out, I thought I wanted a darker tan, but then I saw one in person. Nope, it's perfect. I couldn't possibly be happier with my choice.

So who else thinks that stock spare tire cover looks ...erm gey?I had to take it off , maybe someone would actualy want to buy it who knows.
Not as lame as the one I saw this last weekend that had it put on upside-down. Kinda like when you hang the American Flag upside down as a sign of distress. Maybe he was just french or has some new form of dyslexia.

Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

I had to do lots of catching up to do this morning; this thread has taken a definite twist for the...errr.....humorous? (I sure hope so).

I need to clarify, it seems, my statement on the FJ roof color. Yes, I do like the burnt orange, but I like the SS color MORE. Because everyone's rig looks different, and because I have use red color on so many parts of my FJ (especially the underside), the white top seems out of balance. It's not that I dislike the white top, or that I think it's ugly, I am just exploring (and judging from the response, with only myself so far) other color ideas for the fun of it. I think it's time to stop this nonsense, I have too many other mods to pay attention too.
Good to see so many otherwise "silent" brothers and sisters pop up again

Question Re: The Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the SANDSTORMS Thread

Um, when did Favre get into this thread?
I didn't see anything about him until you just posted that seemingly out of the middle of nowhere.
