I'm not sure what it is. It was listed on a FB post asking if anyone knew what it was. One person mention that it might be an "R Wagon" and several mentioned 80s but nothing that I saw was a concrete answer.

A Buffalo hunter next to a Toyota 4x4 Land Cruiser and holding a Jungle Carbine .303 Enfield Rifle, 1960s.

The Toyota Short Wheel Base 4x4 Land Cruisers were the vehicle of choice for hunting and catching buffalo in the 1960s. They could be easily stripped down and reinforced with bull bars and side rails for protection. The 125 hp, 3.9 motor with three speed gearbox and low-range had a ton of gutz.

No expert on FJ28s ... soft-top looks OEM? .. turn signals, not (mid 70's vintage)? ... nevertheless, sweet!!!
