Great truck and welcome to the forum. Is your skid plate white or silver? If white, did you paint it?
IT'S STOCK SILVER, TO GET IT BLACK, YOU GOTTA HAVE TOYOTA CORPORATE SEND IT TO YOU. THEY PAINT IT BLACK THEN SEND TO YOUR DEALER YOU BOUGHT THE CAR FROM.....SUCKS...DOWN THE ROAD I'LL DO IT.
nice truck! I wanted it from the very first time I saw it. as far as the skid goes, not to kill your joy over the new car but the "bling plate" as toyota calls it will get owned by the first rock it hits. my advice is to sell it to some poor unfortunate soul while its in good shape and use the money to get your first upgrade, a skid plate. all of which can be found here:

If you plan on wheeling it hard, spray paint it.
If you don't plan on wheeling hard and want it to look great, powder coat it.
I can promise you both of these options will be cheaper then getting Toyota or your dealership to do it. Congrats on a great looking FJ.
