A couple years ago I was sitting in the line up for the toll booth near the Maine/New Hampshire border. It was July 4th weekend and we were sitting in a Freightliner patiently waiting. I think traffic sat 8 lanes deep and maybe 1/2 mile back.....(Thank you know who for AC)...Anyway the CB chatter was fun to listen to as a time passer. Ofcourse many of the big rig drivers were commenting on the "scenery" and many comments about certain cars in the line ups.....Several commented on a certain silver Mercedes as they passed it in the line and then this exchange was heard....
Trucker: " Now them is the nicest seat covers I ever saw"
Female reply: " Why thank you driver"
The woman in the Merc had a handheld and was listening the whole time....God love her for taking it all in stride and not getting offended....
Now and then I really miss truckin'......
Seein' all the comments about big joes "seat cover' made me take a trip down memory lane.
Hey Joe...try and get her to step outside the Ti next time .....We would all appreciate it.....lol....ALOT!!!!
