Talking RAPTOR doing some SCUBA Driving

My wife Anita and I decided to take a little drive today to see all the water that has come up in our area. We live in the Middle of the Ozarks Mountains. We are surrounded by some very beautiful places. As most of you know if you watch the weather channel, we have been getting hit with a very large amount of rain lately. So much in fact they that they had to release a large amount of water from our local Dam’s (Bull Shoals Dam) which feeds the White River in our area, along with some of the others like Norfork Dam. The Table Rock Dam which feeds of Lake Taneycomo in MO. They say the last time they had to let water loose from the Dam’s was back in the early 70’s, almost 40 years ago. Well, we went out and took some pictures of how high the water had come up at the Bull Shoals Dam, pretty impressive sight to see the water that was flowing.

Here you can see the water over the railing.

We then drove to Henderson, AR just a little East of us to Norfork Lake. The Raptor decided to do some SCUBA driving....

I was looking for the "No Wake Zone" sign....I didn't want to get a ticket

Never go swim'n with out your wet suit. The Raptor was glad to have on the (Wet Okole Seat Covers)

Re: RAPTOR doing some SCUBA Driving

So is that the Taneycomo dam you have pictured? I used to fish Taneycomo when I was younger w/ my uncle and old man.

My dad is acutally working down there in your region and he says the amount of water they're getting is ridiculous. I hope all is well at your place.

Great pics (as always)

EDIT: I read again and it's Bull Shoal's dam - that's not the Taneycomo dam is it?

Eric, It appears to be around 35" deep......Anita opened up the passenger door to get in and this waterfall pours out of the vehicle.

Re: RAPTOR doing some SCUBA Driving

I pulled a 5+ lb trout out of Taneycomo back in the early 90's.
