High Speed Off Road Runs

Well had some time to play around at high speeds this weekend.... Checked out the trails prior to the run. You can hear the VSC kicking in pretty often.

I was pretty satisfied with the way the FJ handled. Need to get the DR/ICON rear suspension bits so I can trade em out. Ate up the MTs a little in the front.

Re: High Speed Off Road Runs

Due to running her pretty hard I got 159 miles before the low fuel light came on. You can hear me comment about the speeds sometime. Top speed during the day was around 80 and at night 70-75. Turns were taken no less than 35-45 at most times.

Re: High Speed Off Road Runs

This could have potentially been dangerous due to wildlife crossing the road, but other than that we were gated in.

It's completely stock as far as filter, exhaust, headers, etc..... It is a stick though! Kept it in the powerband.

Re: High Speed Off Road Runs

You should have disconnected the VSC before going fast around the corners. That stupid thing will end your day quickly in the dirt.

Re: High Speed Off Road Runs

Thanks Dominic. I just remembered that I have an extra switch that I made laying around. I will hook up the VSC disconnect and try it out :-).
