Re: Your FJC & your Motorcycle!

Agree! After completing the course, less steps are required to get your license and you earn a discount on the motorcycle insurance! It is actually a pretty good course, and they provide the motorcycles...as for the 250, it is probably a good place to start but you might 'outgrow' in relatively quickly...

Re: Your FJC & your Motorcycle!

My 2 cents: I don't think your ever too old. That said, it is not for everyone. Riding a motorcycle is inherently more dangerous to the rider and passenger than driving a car. Factors like reflexes and basic physical fitness play a role in the riders ability to deal with events on the road that are taken for granted in a car. If you want to take up this sport you must recognize and accept your limitations and fully respect the laws of physics (they're a bi***)!

Don't have any pics of the bike, but here are some of the parts of my son & my 93 Yamaha Virargo.

Sorry thumbnails did not attach. I'll post them later from home, I'm at work.

Re: Your FJC & your Motorcycle!

Definitely! I've been freezing the last couple of days! I still haven't put it away for winter yet...been hoping to maybe get out one more time. Hopefully we'll have a couple days of 70 degree weather....
