Pretty cool . If you do want to do more mud stuff, you should get the proper mud tire. Swamper Boggers.

I'm actually thinking about that but on a seperate set of like maybe 15'' steel wheels ....that way I can keep the tread lugs as big and new as possible STRICTLY for boggen

(don't think the wifey's gonna be to happy bout the new mods to come now that I've been to this place )

Heh, I wish we could put 15s on, but no way. The smallest is 16s.

Before going to 34X10.5X16 LTBs, I've actually thought about getting 35" Boggers for more hardcore rocks. Glad I didn't go that big (gearing issues), and actually pretty happy with LTBs on rocks. I have 2 separate sets (other set is 305/70/16 MT/R) and I do swap them based on need.

Re: I took my FJ mud bogging and sand drag racing !!

I know going to 35's without regearing would suck on the street but you think I would be ok, If I stayed with 33's for street and heck even for wheeling but used a set of 35'' boggers strictly for bogging ?

I wouldn't know, but it's probably not going to be too bad since it'll be your designated wheeling tires. Downshift and go for it.

Just a quick tip, Don't put your truck in a low gear if you are going to be flooring it through the mud. You hear that dadadadadada? That is your engine bouncing off the rev limiter while you have the pedal floored and the transmission in a low gear in 4LO. Its a great/quick way to F*** up your engine/trans.

Re: I took my FJ mud bogging and sand drag racing !!

I would give the 34inch ltb's a shot. They are pretty darn fantastic in the mud and won't break your bank as much as boggers will.

I'm familiar with a rev limiter .... I used to drag race imports .......if it blows , it blows ........great excuse to drop in a diesel or otherwise ,as my buddy's currently doing in his FJ40!!!

(You're talking to a guy who once had a bad distributor on my honda , so I ripped out the engine , dropped in a better one AND turbo'ed it !)

If I decide to really get into all this .... I think boggers are the best bet as a dedicated mud bogging tire.....as I said before , I'll probably still run 33'' MTZ's or Claws on the street AND wheeling
