I took my FJ mud bogging and sand drag racing !!

So I was out the other day and found this place and posted up about in the regional forum but got little response ...... So I went with my wifey and a friend down to check it out last night ...... I had no intention of entering anything and just went there to watch since my front tires are pretty worn out . About the last hour before they closed up , I couldn't help myself any longer and signed up and got a few runs in !! I can't wait to go back and be a little better prepared ..... The people there are pretty nice and VERY helpful when it comes to advice ..... anyways , here's a few videos my wifey shot (poor quality cell phone video SORRY!!)

Sand drag racing a full size chevy with a "modified 454" and I smoke his a$$!!

My first attempt ever at a mud bogg !!!

My second attempt at the mud bog and even though I make it much farther this time , this suzuki samurai whoops me !!

That first one of the drag had me in stitches!! You totally smoked him!!

So, some questions: High or low range in the drag and did you use A-TRAC? Same for the mud bog and did you use your rear locker?

In the drags, I didn't touch the transfer case because mine is a 6/mt all wheel drive .... I just popped the hood and pulled the traction control plug to disable it

In the mod bog I went 4LL NO ATRAC and with locker engaged

I currently am running 33X12.5X17 mickey thompson MTZ's but my rears are OK and fronts are pretty slick (especially on the inner half ) I need new tires ASAP just need to decide first what new suspension I want to run (deciding between 3'' SAW,3'' Icon or 6'' RC/Icon)

That looks like a great place! Sure wish there was a place nearby here that has that same track setup. I would be there always
