i usually try and go to sema every year, but this time i got to spend a couple days there. not as crowded as years past, but still a good show. the retro american muscle cars were pretty much the norm this year while the gtr and gensis also made strong showings. there was just camaros and challengers everywhere. mustangs didn't seem as visible, but maybe that's because of it's been out for a few years. dry carbon was also on everything and already out for the new cars. i was expecting to see more euro cars and nissan cubes, but they weren't there like the past.
i also test drove the new trail edition 4runner there and it was an amazing drive. definitely check it out if you're looking to replace the fj for something bigger.

I second the Trail Edition 4Runner, the KDSS suspension was awesome and crawl mode was cool.
to me, the 40k price tag is a little hard to take. i don't see why it needs to be priced so high or why they can't offer that kdss system without the navigation/dvd system.
