Trail Teams Expedition in the Outer Banks, NC?

Does anyone know anything about the route the trail teams took when they did their expedition run down the Outer Banks in NC? Heres the video from their website: Toyota Trail Teams .

Myself and a friend are interested in trying to make the trip and would love to know how it was if anyone from here made it. Thanks

There is someone on this forum that did that trip but I can't remember off hand who it is. Also I know there where some members that did it on their own. If I can remember who they are I will let you know. You could try searching it, I think they posted about it.

I've found a couple of threads but can't find a whole lot on the route that they took. Sending pm's to a few folks though.

Re: Trail Teams Expedition in the Outer Banks, NC?

The Trail Teams went with the FJ Bruisers.

Check their site, FJBruisers.org - Home . I'm sure there is a trail report in there somewhere.

You could post a question in there as well, I'm sure you'll get a good answer.

Can't tell you the specific route the TTT took during this expedition.

I can give you a route that the Olde North State Cruisers took last spring. I was a great start for the trip which quickly turned very cold and windy with some snow. Here is the thread, you will have to go through some to find the route but it does have links for the ferries and other NCDOT info.

I'd like to join you but I can't get away on those dates...

Hell no! Ill take 7 days on to the Bahamas over the outer banks any day... However you have some pretty good company. If you make it down to Myrtle Beach I have a friend you can stay with if hes in town.

The ONSC club will be doing a spring OBX trip similar to the one I posted the link to. We do have to negotiate the beach access issues that have been imposed but it should be a nice time for a trip to the beach.

I'll post up the details as we get closer but I think at this point its planned to be on the 3rd weekend in Mar...
