AEM releases new BRUTE FORCE Intake for the Toyota FJ Cruiser (pics)

AEM has just released a BRUTE FORCE Intake system for the Toyota FJ Cruiser.

As with all AEM`s intakes, the FJ Cruiser intake was developed on a dyno and tested against competing systems. The goal of AEM`s testing is to deliver more torque and horsepower throughout the entire RPM range than any other comparable intake system on the market. During testing, OBDII sensors are monitored to eliminate the chance of throwing a check engine light.

The AEM BRUTE FORCE FJ Cruiser intake includes a heavy-duty steel heat shield, a complete hardware kit, and comprehensive installation instructions.

AEM`s DRYFLOW synthetic performance air filter is included with the kit. It`s the first cleanable, reusable performance air filter that doesn`t require oiling.

Some features of the AEM DRYFLOW filter:

  • Will NOT void your FJ Cruiser`s warranty

  • Guaranteed for life

  • Dry filter means no under or over-oiling issues. Takes guesswork out of cleaning the filter.

  • Filter element cleans in minutes

  • The filter is extremely durable, it`s virtually impossible to collapse

  • Better filtering: Independently tested at 98.6% initial filtration efficiency (99.4% cumulative efficiency) to particles as small as one micron. Typical four-layer cotton-gauze oiled filters` initial efficiency is 90% to 95%.

All AEM BRUTE FORCE intake systems carry a limited lifetime warranty and are either 50-state legal or pending legality (except "Off Road Only" systems noted in application guides).

The FJ Cruiser intakes are available in a black powder coat, silver powdercoat, or mirror-polished finish.
