Maybe this should get a sticky... so new people can find it easier?
Nice find. If not a sticky, maybe the info could be noted in Bostonian's Broken Windshield Poll Thread here? New Windshield Poll - Please Respond

Yep...saved the article because I already have two rock chips in three weeks of owning my FJ. I think I'll need it with the rate the rocks are hitting my windshield...lol.

Re: Tech Alert: 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser (Windshield Magazine Article)

Thanks! My wife's two-month old FJ has a crack which started several days ago. What makes it even worse and baffling is she doesn't remember getting hit with anything.

She was devastated when she saw it since she loves the vehicle.

Re: Tech Alert: 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser (Windshield Magazine Article)

thanks for posting these articles. i dropped off my FJ to get 3M protective film applied and the shop guy mentioned that they had trouble removing the windshield on another FJ they had in and ended up breaking the top piece. i will pass these articles on to them to avoid the pain for future FJ jobs they might have.
