Dash lit up like a Christmas Tree

After reading a number of posts here, I am pretty worried at this point. Had to take a run from Springfield to Worcester the other night, then onto York Maine. 75/80 MPH driving. I have a slight shimmy up front that I assume is due to a repair I had to make on my passengers front tire.

On the way home VSC, Slip Indicator, ABS, and Rear Diff lock lights all come on and stay on. I stop the vehicle shift through 4x4 gears to be sure something was just not sticking, A TRAC and Rear Diff on and off. No luck. Lights still on.

Woke up this morning to rotate my tires (get the repaired tire to the spare). Found drivers side ball joint (All Pro) literally falling off. Was installed with locking nuts and thread locker but still came lose. I have to assume the shimmy caused all systems to go haywire. The scary part is the Rear Diff lock. I see a few threads about this light coming on then losing the diff.

Guess it's off to the dealership tomorrow.

Any thoughts? I would rather go to the dealership with at least a clue. There are no kinks in the ABS lines, no visible damage to any wires, etc. Have not been wheeling in at least 2 weeks and had no problems last time I did.

Is there a reset for these lights? Scan Guage II shows no codes being stored... (what's with that? I would think a code would be stored).

FOLLOW-UP

Seems that this situation could have been avoided with the rear diff and rear locker breather modification listed on this forum. Water got into the rear end shorting out the actuator for the rear locker. This caused enough of a problem to effect the ABS/VSC/Skid Control systems to go haywire.

I will be doing the rear diff breather mod this week to prevent this from happening again.

While there, Toyota found leaking around the transfer case that they are going to warrantee and schedule for next week. Also swapped out the rear end fluid.

Were you in deep water at some point?

If so, how long did it take for this issue to surface?

NO, I was not in deep water. Nothing more than a foot deep at any time. The problem did not surface for quite some time (months), however, it is obvious it has been happening the entire time. Obvious to me that the splashing of water and washing my vehicle caused this.

Guess what I am saying is that the breather mod is a MUST and SHOULD do for everyone. I wish I knew about it earlier.
