every time i put my car into neutral my car makes a chirping noise...its so annoying...but when i push the clutch in it goes away, anyone know what it could possibly be???
I have that problem big time. I have no idea what it is. I have heard from sonic that it could be the pilot bushing in the tranny. Sqeeck squeek squeek etc.

i really dont know what that is to be honest lol...at least im not the only one who has this problem...i thought i screwed up my car or something...im gonna take my car to toyota in a few days and see what they say...
Same here... Just push the clutch in about an
1/2", it goes away... Pilot/throwout bearing....
Its got to be a defect right there due to all the
people with the same issue...
Has anyone gone in to the dealer for this yet ?...
Mine is semi intermitent, if it get to be continious,
I willget it to the dealer....
If the noise only comes when in neutral on a MT, but disappears when clutch is depressed or in gear it is the throwout bearing.
If so many of you are hearing it I wouldn't say that is a defect.
Most clutch setups these days have a bush type slave/throwout combination that 'free spins' when in neutral. A lot of manuals make that noise these days...
