Unhappy Bulbs going out anybody??

UPDATE:.....Passenger side plate light now out too!!

K.....I have replaced both the headlight bulbs and the dome bulbs to PIAA extreme white.....a nice difference with the new headlights.....the dome bulbs were a huge difference as far as yellow to white but it was a bit more difficult to see inside the FJ.....anyways my issue is.....the front dome would every now and then not come on when I opened a door (yes the switch was in the correct position), even if I was to move the switch it wouldn't come on.....but if I tapped (hit lightly) around the housing it would come on.....and if I hit it again.....it would go off......no issues with the headlights......(yet) so I was at my dealership for my 15,000 mile service and mentioned it to them.....they said it was the new bulbs and they were too big for the socket but......actually.....I matched them up with the factory bulbs I took out and they were indenticle.....I put the factory ones back in to save the simple headache......another time.....a few weeks later......the light in my passenger mirror does kinda the same thing.....I started the truck and it didn't come on......I lightly tapped the mirror housing and it came on.....did it again and it went back off again......anyways.....the dealership just replaced the bulb.....I haven't had an issue since......Today I head out to start the FJ and notice my passenger headlight is out.....WTF.......just the low beam.....high beams work fine.....I popped the hood and pushed lightly on the socket just to make sure it was snug.....just as it should be......so is this just a normal thing to happen or could I have an issue with my FJ?? I paid over $60.00 for the aftermarket bulbs......I feel they should last more than 6 months!! yes or no??
