I made a photo thread...4 is all I got...wow...bad problem indeed!! post some photos
How many (if any) of the above 10 in the poll who are stock w/no lift have come forward and identified themselves and/or posted up on the photo thread??

From what bernd says, it's going to be VERY important that this whole thing can be identifed as something that also happens to stock FJ's.

Re: Engine Bay Body Rips

I will take better pics with a proper straight edge tomarrow. I just thought that this needed something for the lift folks and bumper folks to see. Its not just them!

I'm here till the end. The sad thing is that I lost my passion for my FJ. Hopefully it'll come back.
Bear, I don't think you've lost your passion for your FJ. The work you're doing on this whole mess shows nothing but passion for it.

Thanks again.

Re: Engine Bay Body Rips

Hi Everyone!

Please let me remind you on the new thread "engine bay cracks".
I invite everyone who faces this problem to send me the uploaded form, so we have some hard facts to use for communication with Toyota.

Thanks for your help!

Thats what we need. Stock rigs with the problem. I'm sorry you have it, but Toyota needs to see these most of all.
Sigh, Unfortunatly it is what it is.

You're right. The funny thing about being at the Dealership was that a sales guy came up and said " It's good to see that someone uses them for what they were built". I showed him my cracks and said " I'm not so sure its a good thing". Before all of this I would have taken him through all my mods with a big smile. Any way it is what it is and SHE (for Doc) is mine and it's going to stay with me.
