I keep getting an error from Photobucket "Photobucket Site Maintenance"

I went ahead and put them out as thumbnails but I have much larger pictures. I will try to post the larger pictures later. Hope the thumbnails help

Obviously the BLACK PAINT is stronger than the blue, thus holding back the steel when it tries to ripple.

Re: Engine Bay Body Rips

OK gents, took a pic...normal or not? As you can see, its not perfect, but no idea if its always been that way or not. Note, the drivers side is similar, but a smaller gap. Are we counting this as a bulge? I wouldn't have noticed without the ruler.

I have they same thing ! But I could see it if I looked REAL close and feel it barely.

I am all stock, but I do wheel pretty hard!

Re: Engine Bay Body Rips

Chief

Mine is the same. If I move the straight edge away from the hood shock and place it just before the crease its level, however the more I back it toward the firewall the more gap I get. It’s the same on both sides and I think that’s normal or at least I hope so

Re: Engine Bay Body Rips

I don't have a lift or aftermarket bumper. I wheel your typical NE trails on stock size AT tires. Enough to get some scratches and bang up the skids a bit, but nothing hardcore. Bunny trails by most standards.

If what I got is what we are calling a defect, than everyone needs to take a straight edge out and check, because I didn't notice at first glance. If its normal, we need a better definition of what we're looking for.

Shark, is that board flush?
