Body Rips: Just spoke with Svc Manager

Just got off phone with the service manager of the largest Toyota dealership in Phx metro area who happens to be a friend and also owns a highly modified FJ. He was not aware of the problem-logged on to forum and reviewed the pictures. By luck, there are several regional "suits" at the dealership today-he promised to speak to them. He also said Toyota moniters this site. He is assuring me they will address this problem with the appropriate solution and the lift he is putting on for me tomorrow will not void warranty for this issue.

Awesome, thanks for posting this. This is pretty much the attitude I've come to expect from Toyota. When it comes right down to it, they'll do the right thing for the customer.
Toyota - you guys rock.

Are you running a bumper and winch with the heavy setup up front?

Most excellent setup for running an aftermarket bumper with winch.

Same setup I have.

details as to why, in your humble opinion?

And why does it not void warranty? Is that universal with Toyota, or just your dealer?

You mean the lift I am running?
It is what ARB recommends to use if you run an aftermarket bumper/winch.
It is also what Toyota Of Dallas (TRD Parts 4U) sells for the same setup.

My dealer said no problems with the lift.
In fact my dealer sells FJs equipped the same as mine with the lift, ARB Bumper, Warn Winch, custom wheels/tires for extra $$$.
