Maintainance Required Light flashes on start-up

When I start the engine the "Man't Req" Light flashes several times for about 15 seconds and then stops.

this isn't when all the lights turn on, this flashes for quite some time.

I've had the truck a year now and this is the first time this has happened. I was under the impression that if there was a problem the light would stay on while driving?

I haven't really looked into it yet, was wondering if anyone had an easy answer.

maybe to obvious....but is it almost time to change the oil?

TIME TO CHANGE THE OIL or certain maintance schedule, 30,000 miles etc.

"Man't Req" Light flashes when you close to 5k change oil. After 5k it will stay on until you reset it. Hopefully you changed your oil before resetting it.
