High beams......has anybody else had this?
I bough my FJ yesterday. Black Diamond. I tried going to the simplest model I could find. So, I got steel wheels, front skid plate, CQ, DL and Z1, that is it. Before pulling out of dealer lot I checked everything in the car, to make sure it has no scratches and everything works. Or so I thought. When the night came and I was driving it home, I tried the high beams and what do you know, the did NOT turn on. The “flushing” option works, (when you pull then handle) but when you push the handle nothing happens, i mean the handle clicks in to a "pushed" position, but the lights will not turn on. I must say this was a little disappointing with the car that had all together 6 miles on it, anybody else had this with theirs?, The problem is not that big of a deal but still. I am still LOVING the FJ though.

I'll take DRLs for $200, Alex.

Don't push highbeams...he has a bum knee and it's not a nice thing to do to handicappers.

You don't really believe that knee story do ya???? Actually, it's gotten a bit better since we've gotten him out and about so much lately.

Re: High beams......has anybody else had this?
ok, so you did turn the knob counterclockwise 2 clicks right? and if you still do not have highbeams, then this is defenetly not normal, you should go back to the dealer.
