Arrow Please post if youve had Transfer case problems.

Ok, in an effort to track down whats going on with the FJ transfer case I need everyone to post up any issue they've had.

Please include the following info

Vin# range(rounded to 1000): 54000
Build date: 10/06
Transmission: Manual

Issue:
stuck in low range. could shift transfer case into neutral or 4 low only. no noise, still drove fine in low range.

Remedy:
Dealer replaced transfer case under warranty part# 36100-6D410

Any other:
I noticed the shift pattern is slightly different. 4x4 high range is now middle position, and to the right (before it was straight up from AWD high range) I sent an email to toyota and they claim the FJ transfer case has not be redesigned

Vin Range - 19000
Build Date - 05/06
Transmission - Manual

Issue#1 8/06 - Stuck in low range unable to shift out. Drove fine in low range.

Remedy - 3 weeks to get a new T-case installed under warranty.. Unknown part number for replacement

Issue#2 7/07 - Front and rear case seals failed ending up in fluid leaking from the transfercase.

Remedy - 10 days to get new seals installed.
