Inner fender crack/bulge VIN #s

Could those who have the inner fender crack/bulge problem post the last 7 digits of their VIN# ?

Maybe we can figure out if the problems exist in a range of vehicles produced, for example, those with VINs of 15500-17500. Maybe a shot in the dark but issues such as these have been caused before by bad batches of parts, rather than design flaws.

Mine has no cracks yet, but I'm no hardcore offroader. I look often though. Information like this may also help Toyota better figure out the problem and how to respond to it. Might be worth a try.

Re: Inner fender crack/bulge VIN #s

if every one was to bring thier rig to a dealer and have a inspection ticket written, we would have a list in toyotas data base, instead of printed on the net where everyone could see it

Bernd and I compared VIN's, and it turned out to be nearly 5,000 units built between the two of our "crackers."
