Big Question. Any TRD SE's got the body rip?

I know how everyone is thinking now that is was the earlier build...well the TRD was a later build, so asking this question makes it easier to find out, are there any TRD owners out there who have any body-rips, fender cracks, bulges, etc?

The build dates that seem to be affected are prior to 01-07. Some of the TRD's fall into this. Build date is still only a theory.

11/06 build date SE here.. very minor bulge on passenger side.. Not sure if it's manufacturing tolerance or a real issue.

It's only visible if you place a straight edge on it.

Yup. TRD Build 10/06. Slight bulge drivers side. 3" LIFT, ARB bumper, etc... no jumping, mild off road.

Re: Big Question. Any TRD SE's got the body rip?

No bulges or tears on my SE, bone stock and only mild off road stuff. Build date is 11/06. My inner fenders do not have the spot weld dimples that the later models have.

Pete

Re: Big Question. Any TRD SE's got the body rip?

I have a TRD SE with 36,000 Miles on it. I have an all Stock Set Up. I have bulges on both the Driver and Passenger Side rearmost dimples in the engine compartment, as we have all seen in other photos. I have a Build Date of 10/06. I have the "old inner fender type." I showed the Service Rep at the Dealer today, and made my appointment for the General Service Manager for later this week. I will hope for the best.
