Need help identifying these problems...

Ok, first off, there is a vibration coming from the passenger side, from behind the glove box...Toyota thought it was the skid plate, but it isn't since they tightened it and it is still there... this seems to happen when the A\C is on, and the car is idle, just as the second problem, it is a constant vibration which you can feel if your foot is up under the glove box.

second problem sounds like a belt, very embarrassing problem since it is loud and makes it sound as if my car is old and the belt is worn, so I'm thinking it is one of the pulleys, it mainly seems to happen when the A\C is on and the car is idle, but it happens at times when the a\c is off and I shift into reverse but it only does it lightly not constant like when the A\C is on and it's idle such as in stop and go traffic.

Can anyone help identify these? Toyota just keeps putting miles on my car when it goes there and none of these are getting fixed...last time they said they "Repositioned the heat shield" and it did NOT fix it. Might add that I can NOT hear any of these problems when the car is off and I turn the A\C on, only happens when the car is on.

Have you looked at any of your AC lines? If not look and see if any are grounding out, touching the body. Follow the lines right into the Firewall follow them allow the inner panel, start your FJ put you hand on the line and follow it to were it vibes. We could tell you more if we had a look at it. Were AC specialist!

Re: Need help identifying these problems...

Maybe the blower fan is out of balance or coming off? The belt noise is probably an idler pulley going bad.
