Well, after a couple washings still no sign of water...perhaps it has been fixed!

I've got exactly the same leak in the same place since my windshield has been replaced. Unfortunately, I live in a rainforest so you can imagine the amount of rain. Its in right now being "looked at".

Re: Leaky Roof? Post your leaky roof problems here!

Mine was wet after the dealer "washed" it. Headliner wet both sides in front, both sides in back and drivers side center. Dealer tried to blame the Gobi roof rack for the problem (which is funny because they haven't even looked to find out what the problem is). I believe the port did not properly install the factory rack. There were NO plastic washers on the factory rack install. Service mgr said no technical services issues were posted, so a proper install should have come with the washers. Mine only had what looked like some type of plumbers putty. JFD, if you ever got your issue resolved, let us all know...as will I.

Re: Leaky Roof? Post your leaky roof problems here!

My factory rack was missing a washer on the driver side front. They found this out after dropping the headliner and hosing it down. Problem fixed, didn't cost a dime. You have to be persistent with them.

No problems since second window install...If your having a leak, have em check the windshield in addition to the roof rack!

Dagnabit!, I thought this was an isolated incident but guys keep an eye on all areas of your headliner below the roof rack attachments. I put mine through the car wash today and noticed water dripping next to the subwoofer as I was drying it off. Looked up and the headliner was wet (right rear) just under the roof rack attachment. After reading this thread I will try to tighten tomorrow morning. Otherwise JOHN ELWAY will not be happy to see me on Monday... (Keep an eye on it!).

Cruiserdude...
Cruiserdude. Sounds like I may have noticed the same thing. Today, during the usual post mud bath detailing, I noticed water dripping down to drivers side rear little window. Located above the jack and hitch harness storage box. Most likely the window facing opposite from where you have had a propblem.

I wiped it up and noticed a second and third drip running down the window. I never noticed if the head liner was wet though. Since it was running down the window I assumed at the time is may be a seal or gasket for the window. I thought I check here to see if anyone else had the same problem.

It's all cleaned up now, but taking it to the dealer will have to wait as FJ and I are loading up to head out to the bush hunting for a week. Once we get back; before it goes to the dealer, for a checkup, I'll investigate further, document, and snap some pics.

Truly love my baby, this would be the first issue she and I have.

I have no roof rack, no wet headliner, but I do get the wet seatbelt.
