Re: Front diff Leaking

Its most likely your seals. I've had mine replaced twice, both sides, under warranty. My dealership suggested it was my lift and the 33" tires that is causing it, but he couldn't prove it was the cause. If anything, the lift would effect the cv joints, not the seals. He knows I wheel my rig. I'm not sure how hard it would be to change them yourself.

Re: Front diff Leaking

Same thing happened with mine. Left side axel seal. Got replaced under warranty no questions asked. I was worried i was going to get grief cause i too have a lift with 33"'tires, but they never once questioned it. daPitbull is correct, that the lift wouldn't have any affect on the axle seals.

Thumbs up Re: Front diff Leaking

Been there done that

Mine was done under warranty and the techs said that my lift had nothing to do with it. One thing you should try to remember to do is lightly spray water up there to wash out any mud, rock, sand.

Re: Front diff Leaking

Cr@ppy seals. So why are they replacing the entire diff if it's just seals? Did they give you anymore info?
