Re: Dealer vs. Fox Shox

Make them find welding supply place and have them bring out a bottle, a gauge and a chuck to fill it with. At Thier cost....

Re: Dealer vs. Fox Shox

WOW, that is a new one. I cant believe they did that. Tell them they owe you a rebuild on the shocks and compensation for having them removed and replaced by a shop that knows what they are doing

Re: Dealer vs. Fox Shox

Based on their previous plan of action, I would definitely require that they show you some sort of receipt that verifies that your shocks were filled to 200psi with Nitrogen. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to fill it with 200psi of air to get you out of the shop...and then you have failed seals or whatever later down the road.

Re: Dealer vs. Fox Shox

on further thought, i would push for them to just replace them with new coilovers altogether.

Yeah - I considered that...considering that these coilovers don't have but about 5k miles on them.....but if I can just get them fixed and they have no problems I'll be happy...

When I talked to the guy @ Fox - he said that if they'll fill them, flush them, and fill them about 4 times that it should be fine...

Now the hard part is just finding somewhere/someone around here that can do that.....but I'm definitely not against shipping them back to the factory to have them worked on.

Re: Dealer vs. Fox Shox

If you wanted them ship to Fox I say do it so you now it is done right. The dealer is paying for it any way so nothing out of your pocket.

Probably the bolt bin I'm finding guy to work here. They start of well but then their true idiot-sincrecies start to show.
