So I took my FJ in to have the CV replaced (they were going to see about warranty-ing it - and I ended up just letting them change it since they already had it torn apart)...and when I picked it up and started home in it - it was driving ridiculously crazy...
So I went back to the dealership and asked them to check the alignment on it - and told them it was driving like crap....
So the tech comes in there and asks me what PSI the shocks should have in them? And at this point I am like....oh no...don't tell me what I think I'm getting ready to hear...
Long story short - they let the Nitrogen out of the shocks to make it easier to compress the shock to get the axle in place....and they just refilled it to around 150psi w/ an air compressor...
They also put a pressure gauge on the other side's shock to try and get an idea of how much pressure was in the shock originally....so it's hard to imagine how much was let out of it when they checked it....
So now I'm back in a Corolla waiting on Monday until I can find someone who can put 200 psi of nitrogen back in my shock....

Dude that is not good. They are completely stupid.
Normally shocks are filled to 200 psi but every manufacture is diffrent so I recommend calling all pro or Fox and find out. Also DO NOT FILL THEM WITH AIR THEY NEED NITROGEN. Air is fine for short period of time but should be replaced as soon as possible. I am sure they don't have the equipment do do that so you/they might end up having to ship/take them to a shop that can.
Good luck with it. Tell them there idiots for me.

Yeah I called Terry @ All-Pro and also Fox directly - and they need 200psi of Nitrogen...
I didn't dare drive it home since the dealership is 70 miles each way from me...and I didn't really wanna take it off their lot until it's completely fixed. I have a feeling that these things will be shipped back to Fox or somewhere to get fixed - unless there is a shop around here that can do it that I don't know about...

That totally sucks. I still can't believe they did that. You are right in not driving it I wouldn't but man that would make me wonder about the mechanics working on my FJ. I hope they get it taken care of for you the right way and quickly. Make sure they do not cut corners and use air again.

that blows! even i couldn't muck up like they did and i'm pretty good at mucking something up. i really hope they get this taken care of for you quickly and properly. they need to compensate you beyond giving you a rental and fixing the problem...IMO. i think from now on, i'm going to stick a post-it note on my coilovers when i go to the dealer for service.

Yeah - especially after I just finished paying them $665.15 for the CV, Labor, and new FRONT brakes.....
