Hi - I am from Germany - so pls excuse my english
This is my story: I ordered a 2008 FJ Cruiser at a dealership in November ( specifacly stated it will be exported to Germany - Toyota is not selling the FJ in Europe ). I wired the money to the dealership last week, flew from Germany to the US yesterday, got picked at the airport from the salesperson ( in my new FJ Cruiser ! ) and drove with the salesperson to the dealership.
Once we got there I had to wait for a while and then a guy

turned up and said, he would not sell the car to me, as it is for export ( I believe he said, that Toyota does not want him to sell cars for export ). I said, that he should have told me
before I fly from Europe and
before I wire the money. Well, he said he is the new General Manager ( since 4 days ) and he did not know I am coming. long story short - he did not sell the car, he will not reimburse me for the flight and hotels

and its all not his fault.
What would you do ? Should I sue him ( I dont know anythimg about US laws - in Germany he would be in trouble ) I did argue with him, but the language barrier....
Would appreciate some advise - thank you !
