Re: Interior pieces not paint matched! And drilled holes on bumper

Yes.. The dealer should be held accountable. They'll have to do something; the bumper "cover" is not cheap and the labor doubles it. The factory light bracket uses both holes I believe (two on each side). Ron

If those vertical holes are on top of the bumper, it sounds like you FJ had the lights, or light bar installed (by the dealer, at the port, who knows?) and then they were removed to install on someone else's FJ. Beat up the dealer. The top of that bumper should have no holes in it.

Re: Interior pieces not paint matched! And drilled holes on bumper

I went to the dealership this past weekend and let the dealership know about the holes and I even found another painting imperfection on the rear bumper wing.

Turns out the holes were not from a past set of driving lights, but were from the optional brush gaurd. I opted not for the useless brush gaurd and asked them to replace the the bumper/grill. Right now they should be ordering the new parts and I'll have to drop it off over night to have them replace the parts.

I'll keep everyone updated.

Thanks!
