Re: Wet Floor

I have noticed this issue on my vehicle several times, before I ever put my roof rack on or removed the outer fascia to run wiring for lights. The water I think goes through the junction at the outer A-pillar fascia and door. The seal there isn't very good I think, and the water comes out right at the edge of the lower left side kick panel and the flat plastic sill cover. I pulled my kick panel somewhat out the other day and it was wet behind there. I haven't taken mine to a dealer yet as I was curious if others have had similar issues.

Wouldn't like to trust my FJ to a multiday downpour...I'd worry now that the inside would be a land locked aquarium.

BPSFJ, let me know if your dealer has anything to say. I'll prolly take mine in soon for the same treatment.

Cheers,
Chris

Re: Wet Floor

On a similar topic, I washed the drivers side wheel well with some blue foam soap at a car wash. I only used the blue soap on the wheel wells and undercarriage. When I open the driver's door noted the blue soap had dripped onto the driver side floor mat. tried to replicate with the spray nozzle and didn't notice any leak or seepage, could not see any area for a potential leak. Have not done any exterior mods to the area. Any thoughts?
