Welp, My front diff is leaking

Yep i was putting on my new lift today and noticed the seal right down the middle of the case is wet with a puddle under it. Definitly not trail damage because my BudBuilts are sitting about an inch and a half away from it. Any reccomendations on a decent dealer for warranty work in SD?

I'd PM Frogeye if he doesn't respond.. he's got a tendency for leaky diffs.

thanx brah, I PM him first but just hoping the community had a suggestion. My bro Itzdbom had the same issue a while back and they fixed it but that was in Hawaii. And he got his rig back Key'd on the door.

Re: Welp, My front diff is leaking

Give Toyota of El Cajon a try. Check to see that everything is tight on that front diff. I've read a few posts around here that said all they had to do was tighten up the loose bolts. I've never experienced a leak in that location, mine have always been at the seals. Good luck! You might also check out Toyota of San Diego on Mission Gorge rd.

Re: Welp, My front diff is leaking

Mine started leaking in the same place a month ago. I took it into the dealer and they told me the bolts had loosened up. They tightened them up and it hasn't leaked since.
Check the bolts before you bring it in, my dealer didn't charge me a thing, but yours might.

Yes, check the bolts, a couple folks at Cruise Moab had the same leak. They had loose bolts.

I second Toyota El Cajon. Have received nothing but good service from those guys.
