Ok, well I installed my front bumper on Friday in Durango, had a great time, ran into Rod and Robbie of the FJ Trail Team.

Installation instructions will be done on Monday and I will post them.

It Fit like a glove, Fog Lights and Turn Signals are great.

Great approach, matches to the stock skid plate perfectly.

I have 100's of photos, need to resize them.

With the bumper zero sag, added the winch went down 1/4 inch, once I get rid of the cable and go rope I think it will pop back up or I will adjust the DR's if needed.

The powder coat is amazing a new process and mixture really nice, these guys have their act together, they plan on being on this site early next week.

They have front bumpers ready ship, with Hella lights, instructions and powder coated for 1150.00

If you have any questions PM.

The Fab Four Team is outstanding, I had a great time.

One more thing, I installed the winch after the bumper was on, then put the grill back on.

Well the FJ team has the ARB, this is a little lighter.
ah good to know, I think it looks better too, but my concern I guess with most heavier than stock bumpers, is that once you get one, will you have to go all the way and get a adjustable coilover to handle the extra weight. The thing with modding is one thing effects the other, so you either go all the way or just leave it be. Even with All Pro or Demello, its almost double the stock weight and then with a winch, it must have an effect on the front suspension.

I guess what Im syaing is, you probably cant have one without the other. Heavier bumper= front suspension that can handle the load.

That is a very nice looking bumper. Even though it is a bit beefier compare to some of the others we've seen here, I like the fact that it doesn't leave the FJ's front suspension exposed. With some of the other bumpers, you have a lot of seemingly unproctected parts.

Well done. I think it looks very proportional to the FJ and compliments it well. This is my favorite bumper so far :signed:

Welcome to the dilema!

You should never go down the road of modification if you are concerned at all about your credit card! :)

By the way, once you get the coilovers, sliders, bumper, rear suspension everything else can wait a bit... ie: lights, winch, beadlocks, etc.

Phenomenal-looking rig. This is my new favorite front end. Beefy, but proportional. Do you know total weight? Did you re-bolt-on the factory skid plate after?

yeah, Its a long process, if you have other hobbies you like to pursue. I probably need more trail time under the belt before stepping up to all the stuff being talked about here.
